I just came back from the most INCREDIBLE vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico with my boyfriend. It was our first big trip together and we had the BEST time. We stayed at the lovely Casa Velas. Casa Velas was the most relaxing place I’ve literally ever been. It’s an adults-only luxury all-inclusive resort. I had never been to an adults-only resort before and let me tell you - it’s a MUST!! It was so quiet and serene. The hacienda/casita vibe is so cute and felt luxurious yet like our home at the same time. The food is impeccable and the service is next level. We ate all different kinds of delicious cuisines and the service was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. We felt like royalty every day of our stay. One of our highlights was definitely the giant heated pool with a swim-up bar. We floated in there for hours until we turned into prunes lol. We also had our own small private pool, which we drank coffee by every morning. There’s nothing like the ease of an all-inclusive resort to reset your nervous system. We also loved the nearby beach house, which had one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my entire life!
The nearby boardwalk of Puerto Vallarta was super cute to explore, and I felt really safe in this part of Mexico overall. If you’re looking for a quiet, restorative, and relaxing vacation, I highly recommend Casa Velas. There were so many insta-worthy spots - I was in awe the whole time. We can’t wait to come back for our next stay!
